Due to planned construction activities in the northwest sector of Georgia Tech’s campus, pedestrian and vehicular access may be impacted on several streets in the vicinity.
Utility infrastructure work will require a road closure at Techwood Drive between 5th and 6th streets.
Due to duct bank installations along Fowler Street, 8th and Ferst, 8th Street will experience temporary closures.

The two trees — a 106-foot-tall willow oak located just south of Tech Green and a 58-foot-tall water oak located at the northeast end of Fitten Residence Hall — are failing and have both been deemed very high risk by an independent arborist.
